Going Home Is The Goal
From the day you arrive at The Preston Health Center for rehabilitation services, we’re already thinking about the best way to get you home. If you’re recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, our team of in-house therapists, in concert with your doctors, will create a customized rehabilitation program that’s designed to help you feel better, stronger, and more like yourself every day.
Primary Rehabilitation Services
Our therapists are highly trained and extremely well-versed in helping seniors recover from a wide variety of serious medical challenges. For as long you’re with us, the customized treatments they provide will be the focal point of your stay.
Physical Therapy
Our PT program focuses on building back strength, balance, and coordination so that when you leave The Preston Center, you’ll be physically prepared to take on everyday activities and hopefully more.
Occupational Therapy
Depending on where you are in your recovery, our therapists will work on improving functional, real-world skills such as eating, dressing, and writing.
Speech Therapy
For those arriving at The Preston with impacted speech, our program focuses on improving functional communication skills, mouth dexterity, and if necessary, safe chewing and swallowing.
